I've always had a passion for developing things that improve how people live. And after years of reading book after book, highlighting like crazy all throughout, and then subsequently forgetting the most impactful things the book had to say, I decided something needed to change. I started writing down some of my favorite quotes from each book I read on a Note, and then I built a shortcut to text those quotes to me daily. And this partially solved my issue for a time.

 

However, while teaching myself how to code using Swift for another project, I realized I could make a much better solution for myself. So that is exactly what I did. And after doing so, I realized this could help others too, and that's how Quotes was born!
